A Woman’s Work – A Film Screening and Discussion, Moderated by Phyllis Cheng

[Co-sponsored by the Alameda County Bar Association and Women Lawyers of Alameda County]

Join ACBA and WLAC for an exclusive film screening of A Woman’s Work: The NFL’s Cheerleader Problem. The documentary follows two former NFL cheerleaders who file class-action lawsuits against the league alleging wage theft and illegal employment practices. Along with their attorneys, the cheerleaders expose the gender inequality at the heart of American football.

The event will include a screening of the 80-minute film, followed by 40 minutes of panel discussion with the attorneys involved in the case, moderated by mediator Phyllis Cheng.
