CCCBA Presents: “Identifying & Managing Disruptive Counsel and Clients: Tips for Recognizing Behaviors Impacting the Competence of Advocates in Court and ADR Efforts, and Handling Challenging Conduct”

ADR Services, Inc. is proud to sponsor the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s MCLE Webinar: “Identifying & Managing Disruptive Counsel and Clients: Tips for Recognizing Behaviors Impacting the Competence of Advocates in Court and ADR Efforts, and Handling Challenging Conduct.”

Disputes are stressful, anxiety-tinged events for counsel and their clients alike. Add to that reality the higher rates of mental health and substance abuse issues among lawyers. The speakers – a former judge and former general counsel, both turned full-time neutrals at ADR Services, Inc., a senior litigator, and a Licensed Psychotherapist turned mediator – will focus on identifying examples of problematic behavior impacting advocates and their clients and advise how to anticipate, diffuse and manage bad behavior by counsel and clients.

  • Hon. Paul Beeman (Ret.)
  • Bette Epstein
  • Audrey Gee
  • Mark LeHocky

Eligible for 1.5 hours MCLE Credit
