Subrogation – Your Gateway to Personal Success – An Emerging Professionals’ Workshop (Part 2) – October 27th

Part 2 of this workshop will be a round-robin style workshop, where emerging professionals will be split into three groups,
and they will get to meet with each panelist for 15 minutes and get to gain knowledge and perspective about how the panelists
gained success in their subrogation career through their own tips and tricks and get to ask questions in a small group setting.
The panelists’ perspectives will come from the claims industry, legal field, and alternative dispute resolution field.

Negotiating Theory and Practice – October 28th 

Disputes are a constant part of life—whether in business, litigation, or personal relationships. While we often respond
automatically and emotionally, this approach falls short when issues are complex or high-stakes. This session will teach
attendees how to move beyond instinctive reactions and engage in thoughtful, effective negotiation. By the end of the
presentation, attendees will: (1) be introduced to different methods of dispute resolution; (2) learn how to prepare for and
develop a pre-negotiation strategy; (3) learn the key aspects of distributive negotiation; (4) understand how to find hidden
potential with integrative negotiation; and (5) study the psychology of negotiation.
